About Me

Zak is an elementary school teacher and Co-founder/CEO of UClass.org. He grew up in the mountains of New Hampshire, graduated from Columbia University and began teaching with Teach For America. After teaching in undeserved communities in America and then abroad in East Africa, he was moved to try to connect all of the communities that he worked with in an effort to make quality education and collaboration accessible to all. He founded UClass last August and has already reached 11,000 students and teachers in over 72 countries!
