About Me
Kathy Magnusson wants to live in a world where every child is engaged and passionate about learning.
As a personalized learning guide she assists families in engaging their children in exploring their passions. In addition, she’s a program manager of a girl’s leadership program, teacher for social and emotional learning skills and trained in compassionate communication and restorative practices. Her work has been featured on the Girls Lead blog, Peacemaker Resources newsletter and recently as owner of Wildewood Learning. Kathy has also taught in the public school system for 10 years.
When she’s not chasing after her four children on the farm where she and her husband live, you can find her serenely kayaking or relaxing with a good book at the family lake cabin in Ontario, Canada.
