Full Session Description:
This session will explore the options for learning beyond the textbook or online course. Connected learning approaches alone with global collaborative projects using emerging technologies has opened doors to all learners. It is imperative learning is not just about the world but in fact takes place with the world. Come and explore strategies (how to connect yourself to the world, digital citizenship challenges, how to be a global collaborator) and resources (a variety of established projects and opportunities shared) that will provide options for home schooled learners to become global digital citizens and integrate new modes of learning.
