Full Session Description (as long as you would like): The challenge of boys’ engagement and achievement in learning is a problem that affects both parents and teachers. It is even more acute when the parent is the teacher. Fortunately, recent brain research points the way to helping any adult supercharge learning easily and effective for the boys they teach. My 30+ years as a teacher, administrator, researcher, writer, speaker & parent of boys have given me important insights into the ways that boys learn best in any environment.
This presentation will be particularly focused to address your needs as homeschoolers, and is designed to be both informative and practical. It will help you see teaching boys through a new lens that will make learning at home more effective and rewarding for everyone involved.
