About Me

I was lucky to have a childhood that was relatively free thanks to my parents. I had the opportunity to play and learn, with all sorts of things, siphons, toy planes, radios, household chemicals :-) and i couldn't help but notice I could grasp concepts in Physics far faster than others in class. I wasn't necessarily the brightest in tests and exams because I was slow, but people came to me when they needed to 'understand' something. I joined my father in running a factory after graduating as a mechanical engineer. Here I couldn't help but notice that those on the factory floor who may not have formal qualifications are actually superior to those with formal qualifications as far as work goes. My interests - physics, engineering and trekking
