    About Me

I have three daughters, ages 7, 5 and 5, and a one year old. I have been homeschooling since the end of last year and love it so far. I have read a lot about homeschooling and am trying to integrate what I have learned in our practice. My children are very active and self-directed and we tend to shy away from very structured or formal curricula. However I am not quite comfortable going the full unschooling route either! I am currently reading a lot about living math, and I am drawn to Charlotte Mason's philosophy - my oldest loves to read so living books are wonderful for us. My twins enter 'kindergarten' next year and finish preschool in a couple of weeks so I am gearing up for homeschooling the three of them with the baby climbing on the table as the icing on the cake!
