About Me
Kimberly joined Eight, AZ PBS in 2001 to execute a rural hybrid professional development model for educators implemented statewide. In 2004, she relocated to the Phoenix area to manage additional statewide programs and serve in her current role. She has been actively involved in bringing over 11,000 Arizona educators to the digital learning curricular library, PBS LearningMedia, and supporting 18,000 learners in PBS TeacherLine and additional online professional development opportunities. She currently serves as Vice Chairman on the First Things First Southwest Maricopa Regional Partnership Council and on as a board member of Valley of the Sun Arizona Association for the Education of Young Children. Kimberly has spent over 20 years in the field of education including classroom teaching at the high school level in U.S. History, American Government, and English. She also brought 2 national special education inclusion grants to the local school district, serving as the only site west of the Mississippi involved in Beacons of Excellence and RISER grants. Kimberly has a Master of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Science in History and Learning Disabilities from Northern Arizona University. She is married to a wonderful high school inclusion social studies teacher and has 4 children, age 17, 15, and 10 year old twins.
