About Me
I entered education after a long professional career in adertising as graphic artist, creative director, marketing strategist and production artist primarily focused on electronic design. Upon entering education, I joined a school that did not have a technology lab or computer graphics software and so I taught only the classical fine arts which I loved. But a significant challenge in these schools is engagement of students - sometimes specifically to get them off of their social networking to listen. With minimal resources in the school but the wide variety of platforms or forums through which we can connect I feel confident that I can bring relevancy to another level and that's what I want to do as a teacher. Find multiple ways to reach and engage students so they may learn what they need to in order to realize all the world has to offer them and identify all the possible ways they can offer their talents to the world.
