About Me

I am British educated - a school failure until I was admitted to teacher training college as a mature student of 23. I immigrated to the US right after graduation and a year later discovered that my hard earned British certification wasn't valid here in the US. During our home ed years I also began caring for one baby at a time for working parents. Since our sons have gone out in the world I've focussed on Infant/Toddler care finding Magda Gerber's Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE or the Educaring Approach) in 2009 which confirmed why all my home ed and early care work was so successful. Experience in daycare work has shown me how so very many infants and toddlers are being deprived of the right to develop in a wholesome manner. SO... I now run a small weekly mother and baby/nanny and baby class here in Fort Lauderdale. It works very well!
