  • Hi there , time to talk about french way to celebrate christmas

First , at the beginning of december , most of the families go and buy a christmas tree , with a lot of decorations . thoses ones are mostly used on the christmas tree , but some families use decoration in their gardens , or on the house . Sometime , they become a very specific place that can be seen from far away , with all the lights on a single garden!

And i will not forget the calendar that come along with the christmas tree ! Every day ,one open a little compartement on it , which is filled with a chocolate , or a little gift .

And now , here come THE day , the 24th ! it's a big day , every one in the family come to the house of one of them . They eat a lot , "rare" things like salmon , The so called "Foie gras" , that is one of the "rare" and appreciated food in france ! on midnight , one place gifts below the christmas tree and everyone come and check for his/her name on the gifts .

Well , This is the french way to celebrate Christmas , There you go !

    Bye !
