About Me

I am a 49 year old mom of 3 kids: 2 adults (who I homeschooled during their elementary years) and a 9 year old special needs child. I have found myself homeschooling my youngest after an unsuccessful couple years of public school. I really enjoy connecting with other homeschool parents, especially of kids with special needs (ADHD in particular). I am an counselor and work with a lot of kids/teens & families especially in the areas of relationship building and teaching stress coping strategies. I am blessed to have a child who requires me to practice these strategies myself.
