About Me

I am the mom to 4 children, 3 have grown and live on their own. My 12 yr old has autism, chiari malformation 1, periventricular leukomalacia, hypotonic CP, and hydradenitis supporitiva. Of my children, only 1 fit in our traditional educational box. Ironically, she is a teacher in the public school system. I also did not fit. I know firsthand how awful it is to feel like an outsider who just can't get it. Anyway, I am considering homeschooling my youngest and look forward to the input and information from this community.
